James J. Fitzgerald, D.D.S.
Dr. James J. Fitzgerald graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1985. Prior to studying at Georgetown Dental School, he attended St. John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Magna Cum Laude in 1981.
Dr. Fitzgerald has been practicing all aspects of general dentistry for over 39 years, with a focus on Restorative, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Since he began practicing, he has taken over 1900 hours of continuing education, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care possible utilizing evidence-based dentistry and advanced technology. He has studied at the renowned L.D. Pankey Institute, The Dawson Academy and the Spear Institute.
Dr. Fitzgerald has been awarded Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Long Island Academy of Dentistry. He is also the Program Director of the General Practice Dental Residency Program at One Brooklyn Health (Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center) in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society. He has served on the national, state and local levels of these organizations. He was the Chairman of the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting in 2023. He was the President of the Nassau County Dental Society in 2007 and currently serves on its Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Dr. Fitzgerald is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren and resides in Garden City. In his free time, he loves being with his three granddaughters, traveling, and sitting on the beach. He is a certified wine sommelier and a history enthusiast.
Danielle M. DiVanna, D.D.S.
Dr. Danielle M. DiVanna graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2022. Prior to her dental studies, she attended Binghamton University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Cum Laude. Upon graduating from Stony Brook, she completed her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. DiVanna is a highly skilled and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. She strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient.
Dr. DiVanna is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology. She regularly attends continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, The New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society.
In her spare time, Dr. DiVanna enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading and playing volleyball. She also participates in local dental outreach programs, volunteering her time and skills to provide dental care to underserved communities.
Junaid Rajani, D.D.S.
Dr. Junaid Rajani is a Prosthodontist specializing in restoring both the appearance and function of missing or damaged teeth. He holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he earned several prestigious academic and clinical awards.
While at Stony Brook, Dr. Rajani received his Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude in Biochemistry and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
Continuing his education, Dr. Rajani completed an intensive three-year postgraduate residency program, obtaining a certificate in Advanced Education in Prosthodontics. Throughout this training, he mastered cutting-edge digital dentistry technologies.
Dr. Rajani is an active member of notable dental associations, including the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and Nassau County Dental Society. Dr. Rajani's expertise lies in seamlessly blending aesthetics and function to restore smiles. His journey, marked by academic excellence and a commitment to innovation, continues to enhance Prosthodontics and the lives of his patients.
Michelle Kamel, D.D.S.
Dr. Michelle Kamel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, College of Dentistry graduating with honors in periodontics. Dr. Kamel then continued her post doctorate training in Periodontics & Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry where she gained extensive clinical knowledge and training in placing dental implants and treating periodontal disease.
During her training, Dr. Kamel has traveled both globally and locally to treat dental diseases in underserved populations in Kathmandu, Nepal and in various neighborhoods in New York City.
She is known to practice comprehensive patient care with a compassionate approach to the needs of her patients. Dr. Kamel is consistently staying current with advanced technology and techniques to optimize patient care.
Dr. Kamel is board eligible from the American Academy of Periodontology and is a proud member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
In her free time, Dr. Kamel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, drawing, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
